An exciting and varied opportunity is available for an accomplished individual to support and advise our US member communities and its leadership. The post will act as Deputy to the US Community Director.

The role is senior and high- profile with exposure to the US Trustees, its Chief Executive and the senior lay leadership of our shuls. It is essential that the post holder is an excellent verbal and written communicator, can challenge and motivate teams and colleagues effectively at all levels, with the ability to build and maintain strong and successful professional relationships.

The key roles and responsibilities will include assisting with senior rabbinic recruitment, leading on local lay leadership training and development, overseeing the work of the Communities of Potential Board and managing the implementation of US membership strategies.

The successful candidate will have a graduate level degree, have a high-level understanding and knowledge of orthodox Jewish customs and practices, along with appropriate experience of managing and co-ordinating multiple projects and supporting the implementation of major strategic initiatives.
