Are you a highly effective and experienced People Manager seeking a new challenge?
Europe’s largest Jewish communal organisation, the United Synagogue has over 1400 staff on payroll on varying contracts of employment. Most staff are based at one of over 60 local communities. Our Head of HR leads a team responsible for providing Human Resources direction and support to the entire organisation in the areas of employee relations, performance management, succession planning, employee development, organisational development, recruitment, policy implementation and payroll.
Candidates must be full members of CIPD with significant experience leading a department, able to deliver a full range of HR advice, guidance & services to a high standard, deal with people sensitively and professionally at all levels and have an impressive knowledge of, and experience in, employee relations, HR strategy & policy with an understanding of management information.
An understanding of the Jewish community may be helpful however it is not essential.
