Borehamwood and Elstree is the largest synagogue in the United Synagogue family and growing fast! It is a dynamic, busy environment with a Modern Orthodox, Zionist ethos whilst embracing all our diverse membership.
We are looking to create a new Youth team, and have vacancies for dynamic, enthusiastic Youth Directors. You will be passionate about your Judaism, and have a desire to inspire and support youth and young adults on their Jewish journey.
Applicants should have a proven background in youth work and be able to demonstrate programming skills and running of events. Competency with MS Office software applications and particularly with graphics and social media would be advantageous. An ability to work as part of a team is essential.
The role will be focused mainly on Shabbat, Sundays and Chaggim, with some mid-week hours required.
These posts are subject to receipt of a statisfactory enhanced DBS (CRB) disclosure.
