Hendon United Synagogue is a vibrant, dynamic and growing community of approximately 800 families and under the leadership of Rabbi MS Ginsbury. We are a warm and thriving community in the heart of Jewish London, with a truly exciting future.
This is an exceptional career development opportunity for an up-and-coming Rabbi/Rabbinic couple to work with our growing community to support young families, youth programming and reach out to new and prospective members.
The Assistant Rabbi/Rabbinic Couple will work closely with the Senior Rabbi and honorary officers to deliver care and inspiration for adults, youth, and children alike - in a religious, educational, and pastoral capacity - to grow and develop the community.
It is likely that the successful candidate/s will have some background working within a modern orthodox community or organisation. He/they will also possess experience of organising and leading educational and social events and programmes. Of key importance is the desire to make a lasting contribution as an integral part of a team, which is leading our community forward.
Applicants must include with their application, a Certificate of Semicha that is acceptable to the Office of the Chief Rabbi.
