Part-time Caretaker/Security Guard
Hours: Average of 23 per week
Salary: £13,550 per annum
Reporting to the Co-Chairs of Ealing Synagogue, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the Synagogue building including cleaning, maintenance of the premises i.e. internal fittings, internal fixtures, fittings and furniture. The post holder will work during some evenings and Saturday morning (9 am-2pm), overseeing and ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the building amenities including security, Health & Safety, all equipment for optimum performance.
The successful candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility and be able to work as part of the Synagogue team. You will also be organised, have a positive and calm disposition and be good with people. The post-holder will need to be motivated and adaptable. Previous experience in general maintenance and cleaning would be beneficial.
