Salary: £997 per annum, circa Term-Time

9.15 am – 12.45 pm on Sundays

We are looking to appoint a Cheder Reading Assistant who can support with the delivery of our inspirational and motivational Cheder programme for the children in our Sunday morning Cheder at the Tribe Aleph NW Cheder.

You will support the Cheder Teachers by working with individual children and/or small groups within the classroom. Working towards bringing the children to the targets set for their age group.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • To motivate and inspire children using our reading scheme.
  • To identify strengths and weaknesses in your student’s Hebrew reading and develop method and keep track of their progress.
  • Participate in annual Cheder training with other Chedarim.

The successful candidate must have the ability to motivate and inspire children as well as work well as a team member contributing to the overall success of the Cheder.
