Richmond United Synagogue has a vibrant, friendly and growing cheder with classes ranging from four to fifteen.
A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Teacher for children aged between 7 and 10 to teach during term time on Sunday Mornings from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.
You will need a good level of Hebrew and Jewish Knowledge including religious practices and philosophy, customs, traditions, culture and history (both ancient and modern).
You should be confident, creative, an excellent and inspirational teacher, approachable and flexible.
You will be familiar with modern educational tools such as interactive media, internet-based teaching, and multi-media presentations.
