Health & Safety Advisor/Administrator
30 hours a week
£23,000 pa
Based at the United Synagogue's Burial Society, Bushey, we have an exciting opportunity for an individual who seeks to start a career in Health & Safety. The role will involve travel to multiple sites and will primarily provide support to deliver health & safety advice across the Society, to ensure that all staff comply with safety legislation and that safety policies and practices are adopted and adhered to.
Other duties will include supporting the Cemeteries Maintenance Department with administrative duties to cover leave/sickness/busy periods.
You will enjoy being a part of a team player, who can motivate and inspire people to work safely. Good IT and communication skills are essential as is a confident and flexible approach and the ability to prioritise a varied workload, with a good eye for detail.
Ideally you will have a NEBOSH Certificate, but all applications will be welcomed.
Full training will be given. A clean full driving licence is essential.
