Are you a highly effective and experienced People Manager seeking a new challenge?
Europe’s largest Jewish communal organisation, the United Synagogue has over 1400 staff on payroll on varying contracts of employment. Most staff are based at one of over 60 local communities. The newly created role of HR Manager will work closely with the recently appointed HR Director in providing Human Resources direction and support to the entire organisation in the areas of employee relations, performance management, succession planning, employee development, organisational development, recruitment, policy implementation and payroll. Working within a team of 10 (HRBP’s, Admin and Payroll), this is a really exciting time to join the department as we evolve the HR strategy and engage in a number of large scale and high reward projects.
Candidates must be full members of CIPD with significant experience of project management, able to deliver a full range of HR advice, guidance & services to a high standard, deal with people sensitively and professionally at all levels and have an impressive knowledge of, and experience in, employee relations, HR policy with an understanding of management information.
An understanding of the Jewish community may be helpful however it is not essential.
