Marketing Assistant - St John’s Wood United Synagogue

Salary: £15,000 per annum

Hours: 21 per week

The individual will be responsible for delivering a range of marketing activities including the design & delivery of marketing of:

  • The Synagogue broadly to its members and others
  • Synagogue events (religious services; social, educational, welfare, fund raising and youth events etc)
  • Synagogue premises for external hire

The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for the design & delivery of impactful marketing to ensure that the Synagogue attracts & retains a wide range of members with varied interests, needs & abilities. Included will be the designing, editing & publishing of the synagogue website, weekly newsletter, physical & electronic noticeboards, social media, email announcements etc, as well as the design & delivery of posters for synagogue events. Additionally, the Marketing Assistant will be responsible for providing feedback information on past marketing & events to assist in tailoring future marketing approaches.

The successful candidate will be expected to have a well-developed sense of responsibility & be able to work well as a member of the Synagogue Team. You will also be expected to be well organised & have good customer care skills, and be self-motivated &  adaptable.
