As the Youth and Young Families of our community continue to grow in number, the range of activities on offer to them continues to grow too.

Today there is a vibrant mix of Shabbat services, educational programmes, youth clubs, social events, young families’ activities, a parent and toddler group, a day nursery, a cheder and much much more - all supported by an army of youth leaders, parent volunteers and our dedicated Youth Directors.

Our current Youth Directors have done fantastic work and are now returning to Israel. As we adjust to the new normal the Woodside Park Community is now seeking new Youth Directors to focus on mid-week activities for youth.

  • Undertake regular outreach activities to encourage participation in activities
  • Support the activities of the Shabbat Youth Directors and encourage
  • participation in shabbat activities
  • Lead a small number of additional activities per year (eg: Purim & Chanukah activities)

The ideal individuals will have bags of enthusiasm for Jewish life and a passion for sharing this with Young People.  They will be able to relate to and inspire both boys and girls from 11 – 18 year olds of a range of levels of religious observance and commitment.

These part time roles will be ideal for Students and/or those working in either formal or informal education. In return for your commitment, you will be paid a competitive hourly rate for each session delivered for Youth and agreed preparation time.
