Salary dependent on experience - Full Time

We are looking for an energetic and articulate payroll administrator to work primarily with the Payroll Manager to deliver the payroll service to the organisation.  During quieter periods of the payroll cycle they will also form part of the HR Administration team to support on general HR admin. This is a new role within the HR department working closely with our brilliant newly promoted Payroll Manager.

The main duties will include:

  • Supporting the Payroll Manager to administer and process the monthly payroll and expenses.  Providing cover in the absence of Payroll Manager.
  • Administer and respond to pension queries from pension provider, finance department and employees.
  • Assist employees on PAYE tax/NI issues/student loan queries.
  • Complying with all HMRC PAYE regulations, Pension Automatic Enrolment Regulations, equal pay, maternity/paternity/adoptionand redundancy pay.
  • Complying with all Apprentice Levy and GPGR regulations and any new regulations as and when they arise.
  • Assist the HR team with general queries, issues and support ad-hoc projects.

The successful candidate will have experience administering and processing payroll, including manual calculations, experience working with CoreHR is a strong benefit.
