Salary circa £35,000 (depending on experience)
The Social Responsibility Manager will be passionate about helping all those facing challenges in the Jewish community and beyond. You will lead and inspire shuls, their members, US volunteers and the Chesed team to engage with a range of social responsibility projects addressing issues such as homelessness, asylum seekers, hunger, poverty, environmental issues, food wastage and loneliness. In addition, you will act as deputy to the Head of Chesed, providing support across the full range of Chesed projects.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about social responsibility, self-motivated with strong leadership skills. You will have highly developed inter-personal, communication and decision-making skills coupled with the ability to influence at all levels, and to anticipate and overcome obstacles.
