Part Time Yad B’Yad Coordinator – 15 hrs pw

One Year, Fixed Term Contract

£18,000 pa – pro rata

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proficient and dynamic Coordinator to assist in a new social action project, working on galvanizing Stanmore & Canons Park Synagogue’s members, together with the wider community.  

The role calls for an excellent level of customer service skills, while actively promoting the ideals of Yad B’Yad and the United Synagogue in the local community, as well as facilitating Yad B’Yad events. A good knowledge of Jewish customs and practices is desirable.

Applicants will possess strong sociable and personable qualities, with the ability to provide professional administrative support to staff, lay-leaders and the community, while ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times. In addition, excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills are essential. 

You should be capable of working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, while maintaining good attention to detail, to ensure optimum recording of information and event data.

Excellent IT skills are required, with the ability to use intranet-based systems, Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint) and practical uses of social networking sites.
