Part time: Shabbat/Yomtov morning activity (plus prep time) and ad-hoc additional activities to enrich youth experience

Magen Avot is one of the United Synagogue’s newest communities, located on Finchley Lane, Hendon, and is looking for an individual to further develop and lead its dynamic youth hub in Shul on a Shabbat and Chag morning, for Year 6+ children/teenagers to flourish, learn, grow, socialise and have fun.
We are therefore seeking a motivated and inspirational person to devise and lead programmes and own, develop, and run with the youth project generally. A programme may take the form of a 45–60-minute topical (including relevant weekly parsha, chag etc.) activity/discussion/chug/game, targeted for the last circa 30 minutes of the main minyan, concluding with a separate youth Kiddush, which the Youth Director will be expected to facilitate. Fresh ideas are very welcome.
Applicants to have experience of youth leadership and programming within the Modern Orthodox and Zionist youth context.
