Muswell Hill Synagogue is a well-established and thriving community in London. We have all the warmth and spirit of a regional community powered by the energy of a more typical London community.We seek to recruit a highly-motivated, enthusiastic individual, who is a positive, hard-working and energetic role model to our community’s youth, building relationships with older children, teens and their families, and bringing in those not yet connected to our youth scene.
Our Youth Director will run our weekday youth club, in partnership with the youth from the community, and to develop some new programmes and initiatives.
Applicants should have an excellent track record in communal leadership, with a desire to promote modern authentic Judaism and an aspiration to help nurture that enthusiasm in others. You must possess considerable initiative and communication skills, as well as the ability to demonstrate good administrative and organisational skills, taking events from conception to execution.
The Youth Director will work closely with a dedicated team in The Synagogue and externally with Tribe.
