Hampstead Garden Suburb Synagogue is an established flagship and a warm and vibrant modern orthodox community with over 500 youth between the ages of 11 and 18.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Madricha for Maternity cover to help provide a range of religious, cultural and social activities for the youth of our synagogue.
Responsibilities will include helping to organise and run youth services on Shabbat and Festivals, assisting with our innovative and inspirational programmes throughout the term and to nurture the youth to be leaders of the next generation.
Applicants should have proven experience in youth leadership, including working successfully with affiliated and non-affiliated youth. You should have the ability to help plan events from conception through to execution, plenty of initiative, good organisational, administrative and communication skills as well as demonstrating a passion for Judaism and the desire to help nurture that energy in others.
