Muswell Hill Synagogue - Community Events Coordinator

Part-time, 20 hours per week

Salary: £17,142 pa

Are you creative, organised communicator with good attention to detail?

We are looking for someone to work with our Rabbi, board of management & members to set up, organise and promote interesting & creative events for members of all ages at Muswell Hill Shul.

The main duties will be to:

· Work with members & the Rabbi to deal with the logistics for events such as organising catering, booking speakers or finding children’s entertainment

· Set up & maintain a cloud based events calendar

· Update website with all educational & cultural events

· Actively participate in the creation of new events

· Assist with marketing & promotion of events

· To attend & run some events

The successful candidate will have proven experience in coordinating events as well as customer relations. Excellent communication & organisational skills are essential as is some knowledge of updating CMS based websites & creating posters & other marketing materials.

In addition, you must be able to pay attention to detail to ensure work is carried out with accuracy & the quality expected & possess the ability to work within tight deadlines & objectives.
