Jobs Closing Date:

Watford Synagogue is a warm and welcoming traditional orthodox community in South West Hertfordshire with over 350 members.

We are seeking a charismatic and inspirational Rabbinic couple/Rabbi to lead the community in our spiritual, halachic, educational, welfare and pastoral needs in a manner that is exciting and welcoming to people of all ages.

The position requires a modern approach to leadership and the abilities and personal attributes of the candidate(s) are as important to us as are formal qualifications. Of course, the successful candidate should have an acceptable Rabbinical semicha.

The ideal candidate(s) will be both empathetic and intellectually stimulating, able to connect with the diversity of observance within our community and willing to work hard to infuse Watford and the surrounding area with a sense of spirituality, engaging existing members and attracting new members.

This is an exciting opportunity and we will be delighted to hear from any candidate(s) who believe they have the right skill set(s) to take on the role.
