X2 Cheder Teachers
Part Time -Term Time Only
£2,800 pa
Kingston, Surbiton & District Synagogue has a dynamic, inclusive and friendly Sunday morning cheder, teaching children between the ages of 4-15. We are keen for children to enjoy discovering Judaism by learning about it in an engaging way.
We are looking to appoint two teachers, with KS1 and/or KS2 experience to join our team. You will need to have a good level of Jewish knowledge as well as relevant teaching/youth work experience.
This role will suit an experienced teacher/youth leader looking for a new and meaningful position. An ability to work effectively with children of the relevant ages. In order to be successful in this role, you need to be empathetic, confident, enthusiastic, friendly, flexible, and hardworking, and maintain high personal integrity.
